Well another Christmas has come and gone. This year was wonderful for us. We didnt travel all over the world, we got to relax with family and I actually feel rested and ready to go! Here is a recap....
We left for Nashville right after work Thursday. I was like a little kid waiting and excited to get home and see my sweet daddy. So we packed down the car and headed toward the Tennessee state line...such a wonderful site to see. Well except for the awful ride home, rain, lots of traffic and 1 liver tumor later we made it. Praise the good Lord!
Friday was daddy/daughter/husband day. We ran errands and just hung out all day. Just the 3 of us. You must know I was in heaven. I could do that every single day of my life.
Satruday was off to the Titans game. Our 1st of the year. Our seats were AH-MAZ-ING, weather was perfect and we won. Sucessful day! I always get so jealous seeing all my friends going to the games every week so finally it was our turn!!
Christmas was just wonderful! I always love getting to be with the family and just relax. We did the formal Putman Christmas during the day and that night did our main family Christmas. This year was hard without Pa. Tears were definitely shed but you have to be able to laugh and smile about the memories and wonderful our sweet Pa was. Yet again this year we were all beyond blessed. More than we ever need or deserve. Here were some of my highlights (beyond what I got from my sweeet hubby and mom that we did last week)....
We got a pretty nice little gift card to go to Jimmy Kelly's....this just melted my heart. This is where we had our rehearsal dinner before our wedding and I have been saying ever since I wanted to go back just me and hubs for a nice dinner. Its quite pricey so we havent been yet but I am super excited to go back and enjoy!

Praise the good Lord I finally got my Keurig. And yes Im obsessed. And yes I am making at least 1 or 2 every day. And yes this is by far the best invention ever! OBSESSED
This one was a complete surprise but I am super excited. I am ALWAYS taking home things for my step mom to fix just about everytime we heaed to Tennessee. Soo... she decided to buy me a sewing machine and let me learn to take care of these things myself. I am soo excited. I would love to be able to sew and make things...especially once we have kids one day!

This one was near and dear to my heart..... I got my Pa's wedding band. I just feel so close to him...he wore it forever. It was on his sweet little hand and now its on mine. It might sound silly but it means the world to me. I am going to get it resized and wear it with my daddy's ring I wear everyday. Its the little things in life...
In other exciting news in continuation of "Boomer the Tumor" i went in one of these nifty little things on Tuesday called a Hida Scan. I was so nervous after all the previous test, shots, blood, needles and hospitals I think I was a bit gunshy. THANKFULLY this was the easiest yet. I got to lay there and watch tv and talk and move around while it took pictures of all my organs. Nifty little creature. Anywho... we go for a endoscopy next Tuesday and that is my final test. Then its HOPEFULLY off the surgeon specialist to get this thing outta here and get 2012 started right.
Back to work....err sitting at work twittling my thumbs because there is absolutely NOTHING going on! I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas Holiday with family and got lots of presents :) Back tomorrow for the NYE countdown and goals!
