Heavenly Vacation Recap

Hello Hello!! Happy Monday (it's almost over thank goodness)! OK OK so I have a small confession- as previously stated I was going to take my laptop with me on vacation and blog while I was gone but well you see I got SUPER excited Thursday when we were leaving and it kinda got left on my bed- Oooppss :) But I must say it was nice to have a break from the Internet (well for the most part besides the blackberry of course)

Anywho- Vacay was amazing! It was so well needed and well overdue! I could completely keep you reading for a long time so I will try and hit the highlights!

We left Thursday midday and got down to Tybee Thursday night- we were COMPLETELY starving and excited about finding a cute little seafood place on the beach for dinner- well except for the fact that when you are on a 4 mile square radius of an island things don't stay open that late- so dinner Thursday night-

Yep Yep that's right! We drove ALL the way to the beach to eat Arby's! (it gets lots better I promise)! So needless to say Thursday was an early night, we were exhausted and well we had to get ready for a long fun filled day of tanning and sun basking on the beach!

So Friday was radiantly perfect! I have declared myself a Tanorexic for sure! I just LOVE my vitamin D what can I say :) Friday night we decided we were going to go explore off the island and headed to Savannah! Let me just say if the Mister wants to move to Savannah and open his practice I will be PERFECTLY happy! It might be the only other place besides Nashville I would be willing to live! I am now going to let the pictures do the talking:

OK So this is Post 1 of vacay! Why am I not putting this all on one you ask- well for 1- the Bachelorette is about to come on and deserves my COMPLETE attention and criticism, 2- you know that after vacay unpacking getting settled back in thing you gotta do?! Yep that's what i gotta get done! HEEELLLOOO Laundry you are calling my name loudly! 3- the 2nd part of this trip involves 2 awesome stories that completely wonderfully deserve their own post! Let's Just say it involves stealing wine and interrupting an engagement proposal :) Hope you have all had a wonderful Monday!!

Oh and although I was sworn to not "post" why- I must say this.... I have the sweetest most thoughtful wonderfully amazing fiance! He is so perfect to me even through my stressful not nice days! I am a very blessed girl and in 7 weeks and 5 days I will marry my prince charming!

NO Wedding Wednesday

So usually I do wedding Wednesday but today NOT so much! For all you married/ soon to be married women did you ever have those days where you were like the LAST thing I want to is talk, think, speak, do, want, dream, comprehend ANYTHING wedding?! Yes?! NO!? OK well thats how I am today! I think it's just the BLAH Wednesdays- I'm ready to go on Vacation, I'm ready to be away from work, I'm ready to not think about wedding or family issues or ANYTHING! I just want to relax.

Top 2 Tuesday- Tybee Island (2 days)

So as I sit here at work ALL I can think about is the fact that in 2 days I will be headed to the wonderful perfection of the beach! The Mister says I can't go more than 2 months without a vacation! I personally see nothing wrong with this concept. I just need a break every now and then. And for the record- my last vacation was for our Anniversary LAST SEPTEMBER to the beautiful Biltmore

I am obsessed with Asheville! Now just have to convence the Mister to take me back for Christmas! Hmmm.... start plotting now!

Anyways-I tend to get sidetracked when thinking about vacations! In 2 days its GIRLS TRIP TIME to Tybee Island (Savannah, GA)! I haven't been in many years! I am so stinkin excited about just relaxing on the beach soaking up the rays, reading that good "summer" book, sipping on cute little fruity drinks, sundresses, ocean breeze- Oh i could go on and on and on! Beach/ Vacation is perfection to me! And a girls only trip on top of that! I am going to be one happy girl! And only having a 3 day work week doesn't hurt either!

I will have lots of pictures to share I promise! Now it's time to get the packing list together and daydream for the next 2 days about the beach! If anyone has any good spots to visit/ eat/ shop etc please let me know! I LOVE new ideas!

Weekend Recap

HELLO Blog World!! Miss me!? Ha- ok I'm just trying to hope,wish,maybe one day if i'm super super lucky imagine in my mind that 1 or 2 of you read this everyday! Maybe one day! So anyways- Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It FLEW by as always! I got to finally see the Mister after 2 long weeks apart! We met in Jackson, TN since we had a wedding to attend on Saturday. Friday night was the usual after a long seperation- dinner, drinks, catching up on those little details you just don't feel like explaining over the phone and then  a relaxing evening just catching up! I always treasure those moments!

Saturday was a OMG is it seriously this hott in Tennessee in June ALREADY relaxing day at the hotel pool catching some rays. I kept saying how much I loved just getting to relax- so sad but so true. But I guess when you have your own wedding in 2 months, a fiance 6 hours away, a busy job and family, friends, events kinda just keep those weekends packed!

So anyways- wedding saturday night was very sweet! Congrats Mallory and Daniel! You are such a cute cute couple. As usual I did not take many pics... but HEY give me credit I did take one :)

 I am very very proud of myself for this one! I ALWAYS forget to take pictures!

Soo I know, I know- it's Thursday! Why you ask is it Wedding Wednesday then? Well you see I had a HORRIBLE headache yesterday and officialy slept from 6:30 last night until this morning! Very much needed I do believe. And I was really excited about yesterday's post sooo here we are! It kinda doubles as thoughtless thursday since well I don't feel like thinking about any other posts! MMKay now that we are all caught up here goes!

    Hello Blogworld! Happy Tuesday! You see my creativity in the title coming out don't you! I can start 3 words with the same letter for a cute title! I must be on my way to blogging stardom!

OK so anyways, as promised, I was going to try and have a more uplifting blog today! Don't want to run everyone off with Depressing Debby Downer over here- lookie there I just did the creativity same letter rhyme AGAIN! Oh I'm on a roll! She had the sweetest blog about rescuing animals and dropping animals because they "no longer fit your needs or lifestyles". So it got my thinking OH MY GOSH (Yea your thinking this right now aren't you)

OK so back to my point for the day! Sorry- too much going on in the ole brain today! Animals of all kinds are such a wonderful and huge part of my life. I constantly thing ohh if I could just buy hundreds of acres and rescue them all I would do it in a heartbeat! I don't understand the irresponsible, sickening, disgusting concept of neglecting or abusing an animal. When you decide to own a pet you are making a commitment to take care of and love that pet until God takes over at the end of their life. Their inconvenience or your change of lifestyle does not warrent dropping them off on the side of the road.

This is a very passionate topic for me! I am apart of the ASPCA and the Humane Society. I encourage all of you to become aware, become involved. These guys are helpless. They cannot feed themselves like we can, they can't provide for themselves. It is our responsibility! Both of my precious babies were in need of a home and yes they are mutts, no they didn't cost me hundreds of dollars but they complete me- ok ok you want a picture I know

Top Two Tuesday- Yes on a Monday

Soo as I was browing around making my rounds on all my blogs I came across The Undomestic Momma! I read her daily and usually every Tuesday she has Top Two Tuesday. In fact it caught me so off guard I probably spent a solid minute few seconds trying to figure out IS it Tuesday? No wait I know it's Monday! OK so after I got that settled I thought hmmm.... sounds good to me! Lets mix it up a little bit so here goes

So what is my Top 2 Tuesday (Monday) you ask.....

It's quite simple actually- life can often throw you curves, stresses, unwarrented issues and problems. Some things you don't ask for but must face rather its friends, co-workers, family, spouce or anyone else. Why you ask am I bringing this up- yes because I am working through my very own. I feel that if I share my favorite wines, wedding details, and funny moments I should be able to share the hard times too! Now how you ask does it relate to top 2?

1:Faith

2. Forgiveness

Pretty simple huh? Without my faith, my prayers, my intimate conversations with God I would have nothing. When the hard times hit I would fall hard without my faith to help with the why's, to help with the how's, to help with the how to move on, to go grow and how to be stronger.

Forgivness eases the sleepless nights, the crying, the pain. Sounds deep?! No not really- just survival. We all hit those low points, we all hit that wall, we all get hurt by someone you never imagined would do that to you. But you must turn the other way, turn against the bad and turn to God. He will ease all things and bring you to complete peace.

OH MY GOODNESS....

It's Friday!! Thank Goodness! I can't even express how happy I am about this! In fact if you would like to see me at the end of the day today- well here's you go

Yes that's right it's been a long long week! All week I had been looking forward to FINALLY having a weekend where I don't have a million and one things to do and I could just relax. And relax I am doing- listening to Pandora Michael Buble music, drinking a glass of wine, burning my favorite candle and just enjoying it all! So I've decided to divuldge into my favorites! Here goes:

Favorite wine:

Chateau St. Michelle Reisling- oh so wonderful (you should try)

Favorite Candles (Yes I have one)

Woodwick Candles are amazing! They crackle when they burn and just have the most pleaseant sound and scent! I swear by these things! PROMISE

Favorite Magazine(s)- This has to be plural sorry

Better Homes and Gardens- Yes I officially have converted to the old married (soon to be) woman and I love sitting down, relaxing with a Better Homes and Gardens! DELIGHT

MY guiltiest please- Southern Living IS the southern girls magazine! It has every and anything you need for decorating, cooking, living, cleaning, you name it- Southern Living GOT IT

Favorite Store:

TJ Maxx/ Home Goods has it goin on! I could spend days hours in this place! Yes, you will often still come out spending $100 BUT and I say BUT (I have practiced the next line MANY times to the fiance) even though you spend $100 you come out with 2 pairs of dress pants, 1 cute top, 1 work top, a cute accessory, something from the home goods side and maybe a couple other things I might just not forget to mention! This store is awesome! (see my passion huh)

Well this seems to complete me- wine, southern magazines, shopping, candles- and before you start thinking *Yes this is besides the obvious of "F's" Family, friends, fiance- DUH!!
