Titleless Thursday...

...only because I have a migraine from hell and I can't think of anything creative. I am sitting at my desk praying to God I don't pass out because the pressure in my head is ridiculous right now. I cannot focus or think and well can't go home. Short staffed= me staying at work.

Nothing creative from me today but I do have a request

This Blog has absolutely been breaking my heart. They just lost their 4 month old baby girl out of nowhere and their story is absolutely tearing me up. Every post I read I am crying and absolutely gut wrinching thinking about losing a child like that. If you get a chance please stop by to read her story and say a prayer for this family.

Happy Almost Friday!!

Top Two Tueasday...

Top 2 things youve learned from your parents or grandparents

I am loving this Top Two Tuesday this week. How blessed are we do have such amazing knowledge and influences in people like parents and grandparents. I am blessed with a great set of both!

1. My dad has always taught me, as odd it might sound, to have a sense of humor on life. Let me explain- I am one of those take it to heart kind of people. Anything said, especially from someone I care about, in a negative or bad way I take it really deep to heart. My dad is a great exaple, he will say a smart ass comment about something I've done or about hubs- in a completely joking way- and I take it as if he isn't happy with me or he is disappointed. I have found to be able to face life, in gerenal, with humility and not take everything so seriously can really prove more happiness in my life.

2. My grandparents have always taught and shown me through their means of living to live as frugally as possible. My grandparents spend nothing  besides the bare essentials in life. My grandfather is probably the cheapest person I know. But in a good way. I think from living through the depression and my grandfather in the war it has just shaped them to not live beyond or even to the fullest of their means. I truly think that is how we all should live and seeing through them their wisdom and knowledge excites me for everything I have to learn from them and for myself in this thing called life!

They have also taught me so much about love. The way my grandpa takes care of my grandmother is absolutely incredible. He does all the cooking, cleaning, shopping, banking, you name it he does it! He allows my grandma to worry about nothing and completely takes care and watches over her. That is true love. That is true dedication and the true meaning of the vows we all take- for better and for worse, in sickness and in health.

We are 6 months Along....

Haha Not that kind of along....(was I the only one that laughed)

Today, hubby and I have been married 6 whole whopping months! I can't believe my amazing wedding was already 6 months ago. I cannot believe that we giot engaged over 2 years ago.

Marriage has been extremely easy for us. We, like everyone else, have our small hiccups and rough days (mainly due to my high standards or hormone levels-depends on the day) but all in all despite it all this has been the best decision and easiest decision we have ever made. Marriage just comes fun to us. We like to watch the same thing on TV, generally have the same thoughts for a perfect weekend, have the same lifelong goals and most importantly we are truly BEST FRIENDS.

We all know I'm not one for the mushyness so I am done for now! I do however, LOVE our wedding pictures... Happy Monday!

I'm Just Sayin....

Mr. Police officer.... you pulled me over and gave me a ticket for speeding so now I am absolutely terrified to speed which is now going to cause me to get run over by the rest of the crazies in this city. Speeding is a way of life in Atlanta- we are all used to simply *sitting* on the interstate in traffic constantly so if we get the opportunity to drive over 35 on the interstate I really do think it should be perfectly allowed. I appreciate your concern for my safety and laws of the road but you are going to think safety when then next time you see me my SUV looks like roadkill on the side of the road by all the other drivers that were driving 74 right there along with me... Im just sayin!

Special time of the female month, you really really are getting to me these days. For one week I get off my wonderful God send of a thing called birth control to "let you do your thing" and what do you do instead... you make me moody, grumpy, bitchy, irritable, bloated, oily faced, pimpled up miserable hormonal crying person. I am about to take you out of the mix all together and say I'll see you in a few years. My husband only wants to live with me 3 weeks out of the year and currently he is scared for his life until Monday when happy hormones are allowed back in our house. Please try to go easy on me female unhappy time... I'm just sayin!

American society... why is it that you are all calling me right now asking questions about your 1099's and tax information. Have you people never done your taxes before? Do you not understand what these things mean? If you are 40 or if you are 70 you have clearly been doing this for a while. I only manage and see 1/20th of your total investments and money in life. So why do you feel the need to call and yell at me when I can't walk you through Turbo Tax regarding your home mortgage. Find a financial advisor, a tax accountant, someone who gets paid a lot more money than I do to handle those things!! I'm just sayin!

To lovely anonymous person currently in my life not my choice- you make being around the rest of my family miserable. You need to learn some manors. You need to learn its not appropriate to hang all over my sister in front of me or my 90 year old grandparents. You have the personality of a wall and you make me drink a lot more wine than necessary when I am home. I loved my family just the way it was and I am stubborn and I understand I am extremely protective of my family so if you could just go away and I could have my perfect family back that would be great!  Im just sayin...

Now I'm probably going to get myself in trouble for something on here... :) Happy Thursday! I'll be back monday from another fabulous weekend in Nashville! And hopefully posting about Valentines Day if I manage to upload the pictures :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Hump Day! After a very bad Monday my week has been headed in the right direction. Tomorrow is my Friday and then I'm headed BACK to Nashville for good quality girl time then BACK to Atlanta Saturday evening for some good quality hubby date night!

Soo on to what I'm loving...

I am loving  the warm weather Atlanta is getting right now! It is just so refreshing and happy and amazing to not be shivering, rainy, cold and miserable! Bring it on Spring (atlanta 5 day forecast)

I am loving Ruche. They have the BEST dresses and such a reasonable price! I am eyeing quite a few for the many upcoming spring events! Here are some of my favorites: (all in the dresses section)

I'm loving  some good quality girl time this Friday at one of our favorites: Sips N Strokes.  It is the coolest little concept. They take you step by step painting and you bring your own wine to sip and its just the best time! Not to mention having some great girlfriends around! Here is what we are painting:

I'm loving all the good quality time I have been getting to spend in my home sweet home of Tennessee. I cannot even explain how I love being home. It just feeds my soul

*PS- how amazing is this sign?! I MUST have this

I am loving all the new fun houses I have been finding lately. If you didnt know I LOVE house searching! One day... :)

House #1- LOVE the stone fireplace and wood shutters! (sorry the picture is so small) Click and it gets bigger!

This is not my typical house I look for- but one look inside this guy and I was in LOVE. Hello Master bath

This guy is right up my ally with the big front porch, open concept floorplan and big staircase- as hubby says- so i have lots of railing to decorate with for Christmas!

As always... I'm loving  my amazing husband that never ceases to surprise me and make my life ohh so much easier! I would be forever lost without him. Thank you hubs for my constant reminder of God's amazing plan for our lives and His Grace for giving me you in my life.

WHEW- guess I'm loving a lot these days :) Hope you all have a fantastic Wednesday!
