That Time we Spent All Day at the ER

Soo I have VERY good reason for my lack of blogging yesterday. Lets start from the beginning and keep this short and sweet...

Saturday we spent most of the day at Church helping a huge Single Mothers brunch the church was hosting.... we were helping with the 300+ plus kids. Mid way through hubs and I got put in charge of this girl.... ok I love kids. LOVE. This was the child from living hell. HELL. She would scream, wouldnt stand up so you had to drag her, she pulled my hair, hit me, clawed me oh and kicked me OVER AND OVER. And her mother...yea one of THOSE moms that act like its no big deal. Seriously....child has issues. And it's sad. But needless to say I think this is where it all starts....

Sunday after church husband and I did some Christmas shopping and errands around town. I started to not feel great. Breathing felt kind of weird... so I started poking around my upper stomach area where it was uncomfortable (right below the diaphram kinda area) and I feel this knot....that creates this God awful ridiculous pain. We went home, it got progressively worse. I couldnt hardly move without this pain. Husband felt the knot too but Mr. Calm acts like its nothing.  1 pain pill and glass of wine to relax later I attempted to sleep
Then starts the fun... Monday I get up and halfway throw on my sweatpants and attempt to go to work. I got in the car and started bawling crying because it hurt to bad to sit up. Hubs drove me to work where I called the internal specialist dr to get an appt. This was the entire reason why we didnt go to the ER sunday.... I wanted to just go see a Dr. The Internal Dr. said we needed to go to the ER immediately.... by this time I wasw crying in pain and hubs picked me up from work and off we went. First was the ultra sound... where I literally came off the bed in pain...followed by the morphine....much better.....then a CT scan, bloodwork, pee test, Preggo test (negative) and by 6:00pm last night we get the results.... I have a mass in my liver...which is the knot you can feel....it needs to be addressed asap....SOOO one G.I. doctor, a biopsy and a surgeon later here were are on Tuesday waiting for the appt to get some answers. I'm not really moving...it hurts to bad and the doctor completely freaked me out when he said it cold rupture or tear and then you get all sorts of other problems. I'm surprisingly calm. I'm WAY more worried about Christmas being a week and 1/2 away and this is SOO not good timing.

Soo until then.... doctors orders. And to make matters worse... it's my LIVER....I'm just waiting for the doctor to tell me I can't have my vino....and I will NOT be a happy girl. Tis the season to be Jolly and Merry....not surgery and sober. Off to the races (aka attempt to shower and not look like T-TOTAL-CRAP)

Happy Tuesday!

All I want for Christmas

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. I love the decorations, the music, the holly jolly tis the season.... BUT....Can I just be a grinch for a small minute..... There are soo many events, obligations, church functions and the big one...

My bank account is PATHETIC right now. And it stresses me out beyond belief. Like crazy. I WANT everyone to have gifts....and Im not even talking elaborate...just a gift. But WOW does it go quick. I told husband today we need to win the lottery. I know 123,478,342 other people feel the same way. But its just hard...Of course its worth it, OF COURSE. But December and January give me an ulcer. Where are the days when daddy gave me his CC for all my Christmas shopping?! THOSE were the days!

OK I'm done being Mrs. Grinch. This weekend is packed full for us... Tomorrow night we have our annual Home for the Holidays at church. There will be 3,000-4,000 kids and their parents there....think hayrides, petting zoo, crafts, food, games and of course.... SANTA. I am Santa's helper with pictures. Just call me Mrs. Elf. Husband is in charge of the hayrides. Soo....who will be inside next to the fireplace and warmth and who will be outside with screaming children?! Yes...that was planned accordingly. Saturday we are helping with a single mothers breakfast, playing with some more kids then FINALLY time to relax with hubs for the bday and MORE christmas shopping and wrapping. My wine drinking officially increases vastly during the holiday season! CHEERS!

Random Wednesday

Rainy Wednesday in the ATL and so it only seems appropriate for a random blog post with no purpose or substance. thats about as much as I am functioning today. Leggings, Uggs, sweatshirt and scarf and off to work I went. Very professional I know.

I had SOO much fun hooking up for the Christmas List Link Up yesterday. It makes the work day go by sooo much quicker getting your sweet comments and messages. Keeps me entertained.

Did anyone else watch the Michael Buble Christmas special on NBC last night? Oh my goodness I was in LOVE. I curled up with some wine, my christmas candle and enjoyed every minute of it. He is amazing. And I'm S.T.I.L.L waiting for a certain someone to buy me his Christmas CD.

I have a new obsession.... OPI Crown Me Already. It is AMAZING. Its the perfect holiday polish. Normally most "glitter" polishes are watery, with no glitter and looks weird on your nail because it barely shows up..... this is AMAZING. Like I'm obsessed. It goes on well, stays on even better and looks fantabulous.

This week is thankfully a little slower than last week. Tonight i WILL be motivated to get presents wrapped and under the tree. I get so overwhelmend when it comes to wrapping and making each present look just PERFECT. Speaking of wrapping....paper that is.... Hobby Lobby has theirs 50% off. Make suire you get the large rolls (same price for large and small rolls but HELLO more paper) and its amazing. Its not that cheap stuff you cant do anything with. Its super cute and I can actually work with. Hobby Lobby is my best friend in the holidays. EVERYTHING is on sale... GO NOW!
Someone I know has a birthday this weekend. That someone would be my husband. He is so sweet because he is soo low maintance when it comes to birthdays. I on the other hand...not so much. All he wants is to go to dinner then go home have some drinks and relax. COMPLETELY takes the pressure off. Sweet thing....God knew what he was doing when he brought you in this world

Lastly I have one small venting session.... soooo as I slightly mentioned in my last post I have had some fairly decent female problems over the past 2 years and as husband and I START to think about a family in the next few years I want to start working on getting my body ready. SOOOO long story short I have my Dr. in Nashville that I've been going to forever and I ADORE. She will deliver our babies one day. BUT it's basically impossible to take a day off work every 3 months to go back to TN for my tests and suches. SOO I found a dr. here to just help out in the meantime. OK since when did asking to transfer a COPY of your medical records turn in to the biggest ordeal ever?! They are acting like I'm divorcing them, never coming back and stealing all their money. SERIOUSLY.... please quit making this hard. I love my doctor and her nurse, I'm not leaving. I JUST DONT LIVE THERE RIGHT NOW. GRRRRRR. Is this just me or has anyone else had issues with medical records being transfered? Ridiculous.

MUCH better. Thanks :) Hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday. Back off to work....errr attempt to work.

Anyone Heard of the Wobble?!

OK so Saturday night we went were in Chatt Town ( Chattanooga) for a wedding where my new obsession was born. I LOVE to dance. That is an understatement. Add a few glass of wine.... you wont get me off the dance floor. Soo they play all the main songs.... cha cha, bird dance you name it. Then comes on "The Wobble".... Yall for real I'm obsessed. Little rappish, little pop it like its hot, little vino?! GOOD NIGHT. I have now listened to this at least 20+ and maybe mastered the dance THANKS YOU TUBE for the next random time I hear this out and about. HAD. TO. SHARE.

Happy Monday!
