I Just Had to Share

So yesterday in my blog roll of readings I can across Ben and Katie. I spent over 2 hours straight reading their blog from beginning to end. I don't think I have cried and had my heart hurt that much for anyone in my life. Their story is beyong amazing. Katie is such a wonderful and devoted wife and Ben is just an amazing story of a true fighter. I promise you this is worth your time and attention and most importantly your prayers.

Day 10 Something I'm afraid of,,,

Happy Hump Day!! Soooo I was a bit MIA yesterday- I was not feeling so hott and today still feel a little... well for lack of a better word 'pukey'. SORRY- probably not what you wanted to hear! Anyways Day 10 is short and sweet so here we go:

I am affraid of:

FIRST AND FOREMOST: Snakes. I am soo afraid of them that I cannot even force myself to go to Google and put a picture up. I am deathly, horribly, terrified, easiest way to make me fall over with a heart attack afraid of snakes. MMKK next (I cant hardly think about it)

I'm afraid of someone breaking in my house when I'm sleeping (always been a scaredy cat about this one)

And most recently- I wouldn't say I'm scared but more aware- my parents got divorced when I was 3 and now that I am married I want nothing more to have a long, healthy, happy marriage. I am very secure in my marriage but I think going through a divorce when I was little and seeing how hard it was on everyone my whole life I am scared of divorce. I'm scared of failure. I'm scared I won't be as good of a wife as I can be or should be....

I'm afraid of being buried underground. This girl is going in a mausoleum one day! I have threatened hubby if he puts me underground I will come back and haunt him :)

MMMKKK thats all I got for today. Not feeling very creative or bloggy so much! Hope you all are having a fantastic week!

Miscellaneous Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

Time to hook up and play a little Miscellaneous Monday! These are always fun since well Monday always brings new and interesting thoughts to the week.... mmkkk here we go

ONE: I am on a search for skinny jeans. Now let me explain- I don't need the ENTIRE jean to be skinny- just the bottom of the jean so I can tuck them into my CUTE new boots. Just because I want skinny bottom jeans does NOT mean I want skinny suck the life out of me entire jeans. Is this too much to ask for?

TWO: I am going to continue my rant from the first post on this Sister Wives show. If anyone and I mean ANYONE can explain this to me in great detail I would greatly appreciate it. I just DON'T get it!

THREE: Tonight hubby and I are going to downtown Atlanta to have dinner with Kara and her husband Bill. Kara was my AMAZING wedding planner who I would have DIED *yess dramatically DIED* without. When you spend so much time with someone like that you kind of get attached! I am super excited to see both of them tonight! WONERFUL people!

FOUR: Sooo dumm dumm dumm- I have officially finalized and purchased our Christmas Stockings. Ask hubby- I have been OCD to the extreme on finding these. I found a lady on Etsy Stockings!! who was so wonderful to work with and is custom making our stockings. It is nothing like what is on her site- I highly reccomend anyone who needs some stockings made to check her out! Super reasonable to- ok I'm done sounding like an advertisment now :) Pictures to come ASAP when they arrive

FIVE: This weekend is homecoming at the good ole Middle Tennessee State University (where hubby and i went to college). My sorority is having an alumni tent and get together and I must tell you- I am SUPER exciting- if only for a day to go pretend to be youthful, fun and exciting. Well- I doubt I will be walking around tailgate with a bladder of wine in my hand as in the college days (yes I was THAT brat that would not drink beer and insisted on my wine) but it will be soo good to see all the girls and friends from the good ole days! YIIPPPEEE! Go Blue Raiders

Thats all I got for now! Enjoy your Monday

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
— Psalm 27:14 (NIV)

Day 8- A Place I've traveled to...

Good Morning! Sadly it's Monday AGAIN- my least favorite day of the week. I am extra sleepy today because this darn eastern time TV schedule is getting to me! Everything in eastern time comes on later which means I don't get to bed till later but still have to get up so freaking early. Last night Hubs and I got on a Sister Wives marathon leading up to the finale. I have soooo many questions I don't even know where to begin. Isn't it illegal to have more than one wife?! Like only the first marriage is recognized by the government right?! And if this is true- then the rest just clame single mother with lots of kids to gov't on their taxes?! I don't get it. And pretty sure last night it looked like they were drinking-!?! Anywho, ok so on to a place I've traveled to- DUH this is easy! Our honeymoon was by far the most amazing trip I have ever been on. YES, it was our honeymoon but the resort was amazing, the relaxation was perfect, and spending 9 days with my husband and no stresses in the world- indescribable. It is a trip I will remember forever.

We went to the Rivera Maya

It was beyond amazing! Our room, to the food to the endless drinks, perfect weather, service the whole 9 yards was amazing! I'm hoping our first year of marriage goes by super quickly because hubby and i want to go on a one year vacay somewhere similar. Eventually we want to go back- but we want to explore the wonderfulness of ALL INCLUSIVE resorts the wonderful tropical places of the world have to offer! *Suggestions welcomed*

AHHH- I am going to go float away in all inclusive resort paradise! HAPPY MONDAY!
