Finally- Mini Vacay Review and a taste of Sunday

WHOA~! It's Sunday and I'm blogging?! I can't believe it! Well- hubby and I are actually in town for once on a Sunday evening and my oh my its good for the heart having a weekend with no real agenda. We have had such a fun but lazy weekend. Friday night was filled with a trip to big lots to buy a puzzle, a super cute Christmas Reindeer on sale and then back to home some puzzle makin and wine drinking! It was so nice to have just a relazxing evening with hubby just having fun and enjoying each other! Saturday I got up and went to craft day with some of the girls from work! We had soo much fun and made the cutest little Santa Topiary! How adorable. The rest of the day hubs and I spent watching football and just flat out chilaxin! Ohh and I got my first fire of the season! YAY!! This morning I got up super early (yea the extra hour of sleep didnt really catch on with my early rising alarm clock dogs so I enjoyed a peaceful morning in the sitting room with some hot apple cider, the November Better Homes and Gardens and pure wonderfullness followed by another AMAZING church service, Ruby Tuesday's salad bar, new tennis shoes shopping, new dog bed shopping and now finally home for some Sunday Night Football, Desperate Housewives, grilling some steaks and if Im lucky another fire. Ahh I just love being wedding stress free, living with my husband and best friend. Its such a wonderful happpiness!!

Anywho soo now that I just typed more in one paragraph than I normally type in a week's worth of posts I will continue with a picture recap of our long wekend in Gatlinburg we took with two other couples and best friends of mine! Simply an amazing trip! I had some serious depression when we got back and I didnt have these girls around 24/7! I am truly beyond blessed with amazing friends

YAY Yippee Skippy it's Finally Friday!! This week has actually gone by very quickly for me however I am ALWAYS welcoming the weekend! This weekend hubs and I are actually staying in town for once which is super exciting! It seems like we are constantly on-the GO GO GO!

Anywho- soo last night hubs and I went to our first small group with the new church. It is a Young Married's group. I can't even express how excited I was to 1. get involved within the church and 2. to meet new couples that live in our area and are in the same "status" in life. It can get pretty lonely in a new state. Don't get me wrong I love spending time with my husband and hanging out with the girls from work but I really want some good couple friends that we can talk to and confide in and have dinner parties with.... the list goes on and on! I really am looking forward to getting to know these couples and certainly grow in our relationship with God.

Many of yall asked about this lovely fella yesterday. Please let me report- although we were only home for all of 30 minutes before small group I burned this little guy and he was AH MAZ ING! Like smelly my whole housey wonderfuly!! B&BW should hire me as their Official Leaves Candle Marketing Coordinator!

Thoughtless Thursday!!

Time to hook up as always and play a little Thoughtless Thursday!! Soo here we go....

Soo my lunch break I went to Bath and Body Works and picked up one of these.... Their candles are TO DIE FOR (dramatic- maybe a wee bit) They smell sooo heavenly (is heavenly supposed to be capitalized? Hubs got onto me for not capitalizing God yesterday- oopps). I'm sure he forgives me! I got the Leaves candle. Its a good transition from fall to winter candle! I am super excited about this little fella- my house will be a smellin' AWESOME tonight!

I am BEYOND excited that tonight hubs and I will be going to our first small group with the church. They are doing a book study over this book! Thankfully they are only on chapter 2 so we can plop right in! I ran to B&N at lunch today too and picked us up a copy! I have MISSED going to the church the past few weeks since we have been out of town and am SUPER excited to hopefully meet some friends in this lonesome state of Georgia! 

I am soooooo looking forward to this weekend for a little bit of chillaxin, relaxin....thats all I got! Thats going to be me this weekend. No traveling, no major plans just some craft time with the girls from work, LOTS of football as always and church on Sunday! Other than that- your lookin at what I'm going to be worth this weekend!!

LOVING all the new fall and holiday starbucks drinks. MMMMM I could soo indulge everyday but that wouldn't be so good for the checking account or the waist size so I try to keep it down to once or twice a week! However, ummm wellllll...... they just came out with 3 count em THREE new drinks! Dang!

Does anyone else use the Wallflowers from B&BW??!! They are amazing! I bought another one today (hubs I guess I forgot to mention that) for the house! I'm not even sure where I am going to put it yet but the current one I have going up our stairs and it is absolutely FAN-TASMIC!!!! But seriously.... wonderful!

Anywho- Its another cold and rainly day in Georgia today! BLAH! Day 24-Something you've learned

Anywho today is Something I've learned. UMMM A LOT! Brief condensed list

• PATIENCE- this one has been big for me. I often times as I've said before can tend to expect more out of others than I should. Patience that not everything gets done on my timeline or with others how I want it to be done has been a huge learning curve for me
• Trust- I tend to truly trust and relax around few people (surprising huh considering my blog is wide open out here) but to truly speak my mind and be myself and not constantly be thinking about what the other person is thinking about me or saying is a challenge for me! I need to trust that not everyone is going to hurt me or think bad of me-work in progress
• Faith- Faith in myself, faith in my family, faith in my husband and faith in gods timing

Not my most exciting post but such as the blog challenge goes! I would love to hear what some of your biggest things you have learned would be!!
