Wedding Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Finnally making some progress on the week it seems! So I decided on WEDDING WEDNESDAY for today. Why you ask?!? Two reasons mainly (ok will probably get expanded to 3 or 4) You understand

I am only 73 days from my wedding day!!!! That means only 74 days until I am laying on the crisp beautiful beach of Mexico with a fruity drink in my hand and I can officially say "MY HUSBAD" Not to mention the stresses, craziness, ridiculous, extreme joys of wedding planning will be over and I can FINALLY relax!

This brings me to my next point, I have decided that I would LOVE to be this:

As easy as it is to complain about my own wedding planning I would LOVE nothing MORE than to be a wedding/ event coordinator! I think it would just be a wonderful daily challenge. It would get me out of sitting at a desk everyday and be able to be creative and fun and work with people planning the most stressful happiest time of their lives! Soo maybe one day... once Jeremy decides to get done with his school and starts making us some money and my back yard looks something like this:

I really don't see any issues with this request! Now certainlly my original intent was to post about 5 of these guys up there but as usual Blogger is really making this diffucult and forcing me to use several un-nice words that I can not express on here being a challenge. (But lets just assume you get the point). OK back on track with the original post. Number 2 on why this is Wedding Wednesday:
I am now starting to think about the little wedding planning stuff which means 1 and only 1 thing- the wedding is getting close and there is still LOTS to do. What are those things you ask- SURE i'll be happy to share:

*Buy Bridesmaids Gifts
*FORCE ask Jeremy to figure out groomsmans gifts
*Finish getting all the guys fitted for tuxs (LOOK I can't MAKE them go get these things done- I can only yell ask really really really nicely for Jeremy to get them to go
*Buy a guest book- yes this seems easy but I want a special pretty customized one (are you suprised) so this requires lots of thought and planning.
*Put together invitations- ribbons, labels, envelopes- the works! And YES a lot of work it is
*Finalize music with Spangler Entertainment
*Have "THE Meeting" with my wedding planner to hash out all details and show my OCD details to everything
*Have 3 bridal showers, 2 bachelorettes, 1 lucnh, 1 tea and a partrage in a pear tree :) (had to)
*Get all arrangements for our Honeymoon finalized
*Get all certificates/ information needed for wedding
*Marriage counceling
*Find Toasting Flutes I want

And I know there is more I'm missing but just writing this is stressing me out so I am going to stop now and get a glass of wine!

A bit of a list you say.... YES it is! So when I don't blog for a day or get a bit stressed you will understand why! However I am happy to present (for the 2nd time since blogger wouldn't let me upload a picture last time) I have found a cake design I love (with minor tweeks)

The bow will be altered slighty but you get the overall idea! I love the simplicity and elegance of this! It just makes me happy happy happy!

Needless to say for the millionth time... I am ready, oh SO ready to be here

More specifically right HERE....

BUSY BUSY BUSY

Whew I could really use a day off! I feel like I can never catch up with everything I need, want, wish, hope, would like to do!

This weekend Jeremy and I flew to Ohio to visit my mom! We had such a fun time! Saturday Jeremy and my Step Dad went to the big golf tournament in Colombus, Ohio! Let me just tell you- they were both on cloud 9. All they could possibly talk, think, dream about was GOLF. And I have to say it was very annoying cute to see them so giddy about a bunch of pro golf players.

My mom and I had much more important productive things to do- like buying her a mother of the bride dress which was BEAUTIFUL! I had never seen my mom in something like that ever so it was a really sweet experience for the both of us. After that we went shopping for rehearsal dinner and bridal shower outfits for her as well. It was so sweet to see her so excited about getting dressed up. And it really meant a lot ot me too!

Saturday night we grilled out and i played with the farmyard (my mom and step dad live on a farm and have 2 horses, 2 dogs, and several cats) I personally couldn't handle all that madness but its fun to visit! Sunday was filled with a yummy Mexican lunch and Mani/Pedis. It was a wonderful trip but getting in late last night from the airport and then up bright and early this morning HURT BADLY!

Wedding update:
MY wonderful Aunt-inlaw to be offered her house for my bridal shower! I was ESTATIC, relieved, joyous and VERY greatful! Now just lots of planning

I also found the cutest wedding cake in the world! So immediately had to email my Cake decorator and share the good news! She probably thinks i'm crazy! Yes there is editing to do to the cake but overall IN LOVE! ( I would show you now but BLOGGER won't freaking let me upload pictures!)

SOO Much more I want to show but yet again BLOGGER sucks today!!!GRRR Maybe tomorrow!!

Goodnight to all and to all of Goodnight (and thank goodness Monday is over- WHEW)

Thursday Goals....

So I've been thinking.... I really want to set some goals for myself for the next couple months. Especially with the wedding coming up, my schedule getting crazy and everything else in between. I thought if maybe I blogged it out I could hold myself accountable a bit more (and for the 3 other people that read this- see below for more info)

1. Lose weight- no this isn't about being crazy skinny and all that mess. But at the ripe height of 5"3 its really easy for me to look a bit plump. So just for me and only me I want to tone up a bit more (I will give myself credit I have come a long way- 12 pounds already).
2. I REALLY REALLY want to devolep my blog into something bigger. I read all these blogs everyday that have 200,300,500 followers! How cool is that to have that sort of a community and people that interact with each other! I'm not exactly how to do this is so any and all tips are welcomed.
3. I really want to start going back to church more. I know my faith and relationship wtih God is amazing but my busy schedule and traveling somehow always get in the way on Sundays. So any Sunday that I am in town I will be at New Vision!
4.Patience- I really need to work on that small little thing called patience. With the wedding coming up, Jeremy in St. Louis, family everywhere, I have a really easy tendancy to get stressed out, overwhelmed, freaked out, I can't do this anymore- well you get the point. In fact quick story- yesterday I was in Target at the check out line and there was this little boy (lets say around 4ish) laying on the floor crying, kicking and just a mess. And I couldn't help but look at him and think- "Yea, buddy- I have those days too." I can relate to the 4 year old tantrum every now and then! So my goal- patience, understanding, niceness (no this is not a word) and maybe even more pleasant to those who feel the rath of wedding stressed out planning Jessica (thats me)
5. Spend more time with my friends. I feel like I do have that select group of girlfriends I see every week or couple weeks but there are so many amazing friends I need to really take the time out of my day and call, have dinner, go visit etc. It's really easy to get busy, the days go by and then weeks and then months. So I am going to make an effort to spend more time with any and everyone!

OK I think thats it for the moment! Happy Thursday! Wishing I was here right about now....

Or Even....

(OF COURSE this is Neyland Stadium)

Or this sounds nice too...

*Tims Ford Lake where the family takes our boat out- the most serene and relaxing place you can be in middle Tennessee.

SATC 2 and its THURSDAY

It's Thursday!! YAY! At least the week has been going by a bit quicker this week! Well last night I missed my blogging because of this:

Yes! I FINALLY got to go see it and well YES it was really cute and I did like but I can't say it was as good as the 1st one! I think maybe my expectations were too high? Or maybe it was just REALLY long and not getting out of the movie theatre until 10:00 on a worknight didn't really do it for me (yes I am THAT boring) I like my sleep! But hmmm- I just can't find the right thoughts to describe the movie- Cute, good, funny, doesn't QUITE compare to the 1st one! However I must say I enjoyed girls night and spending time with some of my favorites!

On another note- has anyone heard of Scentsy? I am considering becoming a rep for Scentsy! Why you ask- well because I buy it ALL the time so might as well make some extra money off of it and well I think it would be something fun to do and meet new people once Jeremy and I move! Scentsy has the cutest little warmers and scents to put in your house! And if your anything like me- I LOVE my house smelling wonderful when I walk in the door! OK so now that I sound like a walking advertisement for Scentsy I will now SADLY get up and get ready for another day of work! BLAH

Sorry for the lack of creativeness this week- it's been a busy one!

Tooo Many things to do Tuesday....

I know I'm slacking in the blogging world~ It's just kinda hard when you work all day, come home, have plans and then its 9:00 at night and well your exhausted~ ANYWAYS I need to stop complaining! The month of June has officially started and therefore the madness from now until August 21st has begun! Tonight my MOH-Trish came over to hang out and discuss wedding stuff and bridal shower coming up in July! Everything is so freaking expensive! We just need a cute, fun, cheap easy something in Nashville! Is that asking for too much!? Right now we are thinking Arrington Vineyards

Hopefully this will work out! Its so freaking cute and just would be the perfect setting! Trish also tried on her bridesmaid dress for me and I just fell in LOVE all over again! The color, the style- it just makes me HAPPY! The dresses are Lapis- or what I call Eggplant. Its a deep purple color. Just Stunning. So anyways.... Since Trish came over I took the opportunity to cook a new recipe I've been wanting to try! And I must say it wasn't all bad!

Mexican Casserole
INGREDIENTS:
3-4 chicken breasts, boiled and cut into bite size pieces

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can rotel
1-2 cups cheddar cheese
Package of corn tortillas (small)
Tear the tortillas into small pieces and line the bottom of a pan. Mix together the soups, rotel and chicken and pour on top. Top with cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until cheese is golden.

OF COURSE I forgot to take a picture and now I am just way to lazy to go into the kitchen and take a picture so take my word for it- it was good! Not amazing, not my favorite but good! A sucessful, easy Tuesday night dinner option!

Good news- tomorrow is already Wednesday! I think we should have no work Mondays more often! It just makes the work week easier! Goodnight to all and to all of Goodnight
